Stadium Guidelines & Frequently Asked Questions

At Swede Johnson Stadium we strive to have a great atmosphere for all our fans, To help us achieve this goal we have a few stadium rules and guidelines we ask everyone to comply with.

Beverages, Food & Containers – No outside food or beverages. No bottles, cans, food or containers may be brought into Swede Johnson Stadium. Alcohol is not permitted inside the Swede Johnson Stadium or the parking lot. Please use the bags provided by the Home Plate Grill & Concessions to dispose of sunflower seed shells and dispose of them in one of our many trash containers.

Pets- No pets of any size are allowed in the stadium.

Cleats- Cleats are not to be warn on the concrete outside of the dugouts, in the batting cages or in the stadium at any time.

Foul Balls- We encourage fans to return any ball that is hit or thrown into the stands back to the field or our Home Plate Grill & Concessions. However, any ball or bat thrown can be potentially dangerous – please remain heads up at all times.

Smoking – There is no smoking allowed at Swede Johnson Stadium as it is on Eugene 4J School District property. Those wishing to smoke must exit the ballpark and the parking lot.

Lost and Found – Lost items that have been turned in may be retrieved at the Home Plate Grill & Concessions. Fans may also call the Bi-Mart Eugene Challengers  (541-689-9121) to inquire about lost and found items. If an item is found, it should be given to the nearest stadium official. Items will be held for a period of seven (15) days.

Rain Checks – In the event a legal game is not played (4 ½ innings) or 5 innings if the home team is not ahead, a ticket may be exchanged for a ticket of equal or lesser value for any remaining regular season game based on availability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Parking- Parking is allowed in all surrounding parking lots around the stadium with no restrictions. Please know parking near the stadium is at your own risk. Damaged vehicles do to foul balls or any other damage is not the responsibility of the Bi-Mart Eugene Challengers, North Eugene High School, Eugene 4J School District, or the City of Eugene.

First Aid – The first aid supplies are located on the concourse level at the Home Plate Grill & Concessions. If you should need first aid, please contact the nearest stadium official.

Restrooms – Restrooms are located on the main concourse along the 3rd base side under the stands.

Water Fountains – Swede Johnson Stadium drinking fountain is located on the main concourse level near the concession stand.

Wheelchair Assistance/Seating – We have easy access to our stadium with designated handicap parking at the front of our parking lot and smooth easy flat access. Disabled guests may enter Swede Johnson Stadium through our main gate. Wheelchair seating is located in designated areas for wheelchair spectators at the bottom row of our stands.

Merchandise – The Bi-Mart Eugene Challengers encourages fans to proudly wear spirit gear. Eugene Challenger Merchandise (hats, shirts, and sweatshirts) are sold during each game at the front entry gate which is located just as you come into the stadium on the right side.

Programs- The Bi-Mart Eugene Challengers publish a full-color program with a scorecard for your enjoyment. They are sold at the front entry gate which is located just as you come into the stadium on the right side.

Live Radio Broadcast- All Bi-Mart Eugene Challengers league and playoff games are broadcast on KKNX 840 AM and rebroadcasted on 105.1 FM by Bill Crawford who is our play by play guy and also our announcer at Swede Johnson Stadium.

National Anthem Singers- Those interested in performing the National Anthem prior to a Bi-Mart Eugene Challengers game should contact Les Duman at 541-285-3151 or gm@eugenechallengers.com.
