Eugene Overhead Door Challengers Shut Out Keizer Crushers in Game Two of Grant Smith Wood Bat Tournament

Eugene Overhead Door Challengers defeated Keizer Crushers 7-0 on Saturday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Kyle Fuller struck out Grayson Reeder to finish off the game. The Challengers secured the victory thanks to five runs in the sixth inning. Big bats in the inning were led by a single by Isaac Evaniew and a double by Dylan Irwin.

A single by Wyatt Connally in the second inning was a positive for Keizer Crushers.

Bryson Estrella earned the win. The righthander allowed two hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out nine and walking one. Fuller threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Dylan Kleinschmit took the loss for Keizer Crushers. Kleinschmit went five innings, allowing two runs on two hits and striking out seven.

The Challengers racked up eight hits on the day. Irwin and Evaniew each collected multiple hits.
