American Legion Baseball
The American Legion Baseball League is an amateur baseball league for 13-to-19-year-olds. The league operates in both the United States and Canada and has over 3,500 teams participate every year. American Legion Baseball also holds its own World Series every year since the inaugural season in 1926. The Eugene Challengers play in region seven, which includes teams from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming. Notable alumni of the league include Kris Bryant, Madison Bumgarner, Todd Frazier, Bryce Harper, Tommy John, Albert Pujols and Justin Verlander.
